Greetings !
My name is Nick and I have joined today and wanted to say 'hi' ....
I live right on Salisbury plain so get plenty of chances to go out playing. I own a 1990 Range Rover classic, fitted with a 300TDI (it was a V8 then had a perkins) , 5 spd manual and a borg warner transfer. It has a winch, snorkel ( breathers extended as well) and soon will have some sliders. It is quiet tired and I spend quite a bit of time fixing bits, I changed the transfer box last weekend and the viscous unit went on the old one and it took out the front prop UJ's....it has cost me way more than it's woth and I have got cold and wet fixing it - but .... you know it's and Land Rover thing ;-)
I use my RR for towing - minidiggers, car trailers, logs etc so I have kept at standard height so she dosent play up too much when towing (but am consdiering raising up as the winch is too heavy fo the front springs and bottoms out ;-( )
I have to do something about the front springs (like buy some new heavy duty ones !) but I am up for trips out and about !
I also ride bikes and own an XL600 for summer fun (when wife and 18month old let me !)
