Hi there folks!

Kinda interesting time to join this forum as on Sunday I sold the Classic RR that I've owned for the past four years.

Won't be long before it's replaced...hopefully!

Well that's the burning question. As far as I see it, it'll have to be a P38 or a late classic. Whilst my wife wants a defender and my mates all seem to run discovery's, it has to be a range rover for me - diesel this time though I reckon.

Well GRUNT, you could just have contributed to an ongoing discussion within our house :)

She's right. There's no need for discussion.

Listen, sit down shut up and listen, wimmin are never right ever, do you agree? ( except for perhaps when the nets need washing). But once in a while you have to let them think they are right. This is the once in a while, This is the time to let her have her way, believe me you won't regret it.

Well taking on board the sound advice from both you guys and of course, my good lady, the only acceptable compromise that I can see currently is of course to have a Range Rover and a Defender...after all there is space on the drive so it's rude not to use it appropriately :)

I suppose really as long as it's auto..I don't really mind. Not sure whether a stock defender was ever issued with an auto box?
