Hello!!! IRD bolt stuck

Hello all

I have just registered with this forum but I have been reading various different threads for a couple of months now.

I want to firstly say hello to you all and thank you all for your good advice.

Now, as always when people join forums they are generally after help and I am no different. I wont go into the whys and the wherefores but my Freelander needs a new IRD (Yes really!). I am attempting this myself but unfortunately i am stuck now and require someones assistance. I am having trouble removing one top mounting bolt from the IRD (the one furthest away), it just wont budge.I have phoned some local mobile mechanics and they seem unwilling to help. Is there anyone out there that could possibly come out to my house and assist in the removal of the bolt please?? I am based in Bognor Regis (PO22) and I am prepared to pay or throw a create of beer to the person that can.

You probably should have posted your question in the Freelander section after saying hello which might get you a better response - hopefully because they know more about Freelanders!

I'm rather too far away from Bognor to try and help, but someone a lot nearer may come to your aid.

Oh, and expect plenty of banter because it's a Freelander seeing as you've read a few threads you've no doubt realised that!

yeah i know all about the banter!!!! mixed in among it all are the answers though.
