After some time lurking I've finally decided to get into the forum. It didn't feel fair to get all kinds of good information without giving anything in return, so here I am.
I've had my disco for 2 years now, and, honestly, it's the worst car I've ever had. But also the most fun!
It's currently having some EGT issues, which I hope you help me to solve, but I'll save that for a later post.
Now it's time to show some pictures of the thing (the car, the car):
It was intended to be some kind of overland rig, but mechanical issues are delaying the build. Right now it has a custom bed platform, which allows two people to sleep confortably on a 1.2x1.9m mattress and also provides some storage underneath (for spare parts, there is no room for food)
Modifications:
Currently it's running on 32's with a 5cm lift kit from Terrafirma.
The intake is WIP, so, fake right now, but you know, making a modified car road legal in Spain requires some "lateral thinking"
Also, I recently swapped the transfer box to a defender one to get the sweet 1.4 ratio, and it has been quite an improvement.
The roof rack is hand made, and so far is has proven to be the most trustworthy part of the car
