Hello from South Yorkshire

Evening Everyone,

My name is Luke and I am from Barnsley in South Yorkshire, although I was born and raised in Cornwall. Myself and my other half Kate have just bought a 2005 TD4 Freelander after needing something more practical following a nasty car accident

I am looking at changing the rear diff seal as it is weeping slightly so if anyone knows a good specialist in my area please let me know.

Few other jobs being done this week, 4 new tyres, service and brakes

Anyway I am hoping to meet and absorb some expert knowledge from the member here and thanks for having me

I was up Liskeard this morning with cattle.
When did you move up there?
Most of the pasty shops do postal service these days.

I live about three miles outside Hayle, lot of the locals like Philps, they aint bad, but I prefer Warrens myself!

Pretty sure Philps do mail order part baked too!

Ignore Volusia, he has got a bee in his bonnet about something today, the freelanderers don't get any more p!sstaking than anyone else. There is a huge freelander section, loads of info, some of em have posted tens of thousand of times!

Don't take my word for it L, take a look at the verbal abuse thread. Turbo seemed ok but he couldn't stop himself jumping on the bandwagon with his drinking buddies at various meets. Don't have an opinion, keep a low profile and you will be fine, won't he turbo?

Are you thinking of someone else? I have never had a drink with anyone who posted in the thread, as far as I can remember. And I didn't say anything offensive to anyone anyway.

Nice one for joining, hard luck on suffering a Freelander ...

Not many lanes in South yorks, almost none near Barnsley so we usually go Derbyshire or other Yorkshires .. next month we're going to Wales, but that trip's full already before we could even post it up, sorry!
