Hi everyone, thanks for excepting me to your forum.
I recently purchased a Discovery 3 as a non runner for a hobby / car for work and to tinker with.
Now not sure I got the right car !
I'm hoping to find the answers to my problems with my beast.

Did it have it's 100,000 mile service?

Unfortunately I made the mistake of getting it collected by a third party, the was no service history with it and I'm not sure how to obtain it.
I managed to get the car running by replacing the in tank pump and all was fine for a while. It would start and run whilst I carried out other work on it. They day I tried to take it out it wouldn't start, it appeared to be the pump again so I replaced it again.
All has been good for a couple of weeks then on Friday it cut out and wouldn't start.
No fuel at the fuel rail, thought again it could be the pump.i removed the o/f wheel arch and ran a wire to the plug connector and it runs . I then thought it was a wiring thought but then I reconnected the plug the pump runs fine.
Now I'm confused.......
