Hello from Kuwait!

Hi all, just thought I'd register and introduce myself instead of lurking

I work in Kuwait at the moment, but home is back in Northern Ireland - I only get to travel home every 3 months or so, and am in the process of quite possibly the worlds slowest restoration
I've got a thread over on the LRO forum about my '81 in vogue, but I figured I'd register here as there seems to be a bit more forum activity going on.

Yep, looks like it may take a while.

Ha ha, cheers! Somebody suggested I get the body acid-dipped, until I pointed out that it seems to be only rust that's holding her together!

Both sills have dissolved as has the rear cross-member and much of the rear chassis - the plan is to get the sills and cross-member welded up on my next visit so that I can lift the body off entirely. That's after I teach myself to weld, of course...

It'll be done soon then.
