Hi,
I've just bought a second-hand '97 Defender 90 which was formerly used by the Italian Carabinieri (I live in Italy). Apart from having to get all the Carabinieri stuff removed (they have left the machine gun holder under the passenger seat though) and the seats re-furbished, the general bodywork and engine is fine (I think the steering block needs changing - it has a small leak). Problem is the Carabinieri 'lost' essential items such as the Owner's Manual. Can anyone tell me where I can get an owner's manual? I've been to my local Landrover dealer and they can't get hold of one for me!!!!

Have searched the forum for solutions and am downloading the defender 96 manual from the Green Oval site...hope that solves problem.

Hope I've uploaded the photo properly. I've managed to download the user's manual! At last I know which jack to get and where the clock is meant to go and how the 4-wheel drive works (never had a landy before)

That would not go down well with the security forces, would get arrested immediately. Have found two buttons from their uniforms, along with a few dusty biros and countless paper clips. The doggies are Coco (malamute) and Lassie (border collie). They love the Landy becuase they can finally travel everywhere with me and I don't get told off for getting mud all over the car.
