Hello All

Have finally got my hands on a defender, been after a decent one for years and finally got one. need some help so came looking and found you all.
had to drive it to north yorks from canterbury, by the time i got home there was a mist of oil up the back door, and splattered against the bulk head behind the rocker cover, there is quite a lot of oil over the engine but it's in really good nick. oil is also in the air filter. runs fine though am not using it it until i get this sorted. there is a bit of chuffing out the filler cap when running and have been told it's blown the head gasket and possibly cracked a cylinder, could do with some simple tests to make sure he's right before i put it in, cheers
