hello all newbie here

hi, I have had my freelander td4 2003 for 5 years. not had many problems with it really until now....
hope someone can help with this...
cold started it the other day all fine, new glow plugs and battery other week. started driving and it was stuttering with loss of power intermittently as if going into limp mode with engine light coming on. this went on for about 30 mins then all was fine. used it again several hours later and the same happened. next day started ok but would not let you excellerate over 1500/2000 revs before limping. I had the external fuel pump replaced 2 years ago as it was similar fault. mechanic has run a diagnosis check on it and has come back with no faults. any idea anyone, please

I can't really add any wisdom on the subject of Freelanders because I've never had that model. If you haven't already done so, post it as a question in the Freelander section as there'll be people more familiar with that sort of thing.
