Heavy duty steering arms and damper

Hi guys - has anyone got any experience with the Terrafirma steering arms and damper? And does anyone know of any for sale if they are all they’re cracked up to be?

I put a Terrafirma damper on mine... for an afternoon. It was way too stiff for road use. You turn the wheel and it stays where you put it. Exactly what you want off road I suppose but not for road.

Thanks for the reply, I don’t think I’ll be bothering then!

I have a TF set on my D2. After 6 months the bronzed color wore away, the body of the tie rods rusted badly and all 4 tie rod boots disintegrated.
I should have gotten the Gwyn Lewis Sumobars… https://gwynlewis4x4.co.uk/product/...less-steel-sumo-ss-1184-850-4-tre-gl79rhd-d2/

Go for OME.

TF wont last more than a year if that.

Jesus! I didn’t think they’d be that bad, thanks for the heads up. They’re pretty expensive considering they don’t last.

I see all the horror stories I’d heard about are true about some of the Terrafirma stuff, cheers for the reply.

Bit of a fred resurrection, but I also have the TF Heavy Duty bars fitted. Have had to replace rod ends and the bars are rusted to hell.

I'm eyeing up a set of stainless steel sumobars & an OME damper.
