Heaving Steering

Folks,
We had a flat battery on our L322 TD6.
Following a jump-start we then noticed that the steering is much heavier than normal.
Any ideas?

Probably need to do the steering lock to lock thing to reset everything.

Check the condition of your Tyres and pressure, the Alternator belt isn't slipping , cracked or even missing

It fixed itself after I switched off and then restarted.

That's pretty normal to be honest if your battery fails needs jumping or replacing don't forget to go full lock to lock yo reset sas.
