I have a p reg disco which i've had about six months. With the weather getting colder I have discovered that the heating doesn't get warm on the drivers side - passenger side is fine but I'm having real probs clearing the windscreen on cold mornings, any ideas?

I assume you have plenty of air coming out of the screen vents when you put the blower fan on full?
If so but the air is cold the chances are the cable has come off or slipped on the drivers side heat control knob.
The control knob controls dampers in the heater unit by mechanical cable link to provide the necessary air temp out of the various vents.
It's a case of taking the control knobs off and removing the plastic panel to check the cable is correctly linked to the control knob so that the dampers operate.
Common problem.
If the cable is ok at the knob its the cable come off the damper arm on the heater unit.
