just bought a series 3 truck cab. Although the heater is working it is blowing much harder on the pasenger side front window than it is on the drivers side. How do you get to the air ducts to check if there is a simple blockage.

You are lucky, my heater has rusted right out and the waterbox is leaking. I will have to remove one from a donor. Here is a photo.

for the drivers side duct remove the dash panel that holds the instruments and check the hose hasnt come off

What he said. The replacement is a 2" (I think) diameter piece of flexible pipe (like that used for fish pond pumps). It's a bit of a bugger re-attaching it, as there isn't much space if you just pull the binnacle out to the extend of the wires and there is a fair bend that you need to put in to get between the 2 oulets.

well on mine ive got the hoses properl insalled and it seems to have an equal ammount of hot air unless you have super powers and use a thermometer i dont think there should be a differance on each side

I took out the lower dash and fitted a small metal 'bucket' from feed mill over the opening in the bulkhead. Then drill 2 decent sized holes in the bucket and screwed in some new tube to the heater vents. Its better than it was as the passenger side is completely clear and drivers side about 2/3 clear.
