In the process of changing out the heater matrix. Decided to follow RAVE as best a possible, so currently have the dashboard out and have disconnected everything to allow me to remove the actual heater unit. Just realised that what RAVE kind of misses is how to deal with air conditioning feed.
Any one know how this is connected and can it be disconnected without depressurizing the a/c.
Alternativly can anyone suggest a different way to remove the matrix?

I am assuming its a right hand drive car, I managed to wiggle the heater matrix out of mine with out removing the dash or the plastic heater box, just by lossing off the bolts for the metal dash frame.

Good call Jamiehol. Old matrix out and new one now installed. The old one was craked where the screw clamps the pipes. I must have over tightened it and cracked it when I did the O rings just before Christmas.
I am still having a bit of trouble lining up the pipes so the O rings sit square and stop dripping.
