Heater Problems 200tdi

Hi, can any body help??my 1991 200tdi heater blower don't work,when i turn the blower switch on nothing appence no blowing,the dash lights go dim and the tickover slows down.can you help please.

sounds like the blower motor has gone. or maybe its just stuck?
try and connect the wires direct (bypassing the switch) and see if it works.

sounds like he heater mtor is seized, hence the power drain(lights going dim) find your local landy breaker and get a 2nd hand heater motor my old son

see if its stuck first. i once did a ford like this, the blower fan was jambed by the smallest twig youve ever seen.

where in the mids are you. there is a lr breakers on the a38 near burton/fradley.

there you not quite midlands but i got my rear light clusters of this guy and he will ship anywhere

also he has a load of spares for disco's and vw bettles

,all done now,what a nightmere i split the heater unit and replaced the blower, and all the dash bulbs seen as it was out.i'v now got lights and heating.
