Heated Windscreen

hello i am looking for some help i have a 2004 freelander and need to replace the windscreen. however i would like to replace it with a heated screen. does anyone know if the wiring is already in place to do so?

I think there has been a thread on this before, or it might have been on LR4x4 - The Land Rover Forum or the Freelander club forum, I can't remember. The outcome was that the harness is probably there dependent on year and model but we were unsure if the ecu would accept the fact you had put one in.

The conclusion was that the best bet was to fit your own wiring - a fused live from the battery, with a switch or relay depending, which saves all the faffing around.
