Heated seats

Hi all,
After a little assistance from more experienced Defender owners please.
Want to fit heated seats to my 2005 Defender 90 TD5 County.
Seen a very good set on offer, they are XS heated from a 2011 puma 90, does anyone know if they will fit my 2005 Defender?

Get Mazda rx8 seats. Fully electric and heated. Fit well in a Landy. I did Fred on fitting mine.

I had seen a few sets of RX8 seats for sale stating they fit, but being fairly new to this wasn’t sure.
Anyway are the RX8 seats a fairly straight forward fit/swap, is there much modification required to the Defender, so do the existing runners fit or it require a new base plate to be fabricated?

They fit onto the existing holes although I put them into extended rails. Read my thread.

Remember on a defender 90 there is limited seat movement due to the bulkhead, I have an XS with bulkhead removed but there is still limited seat movement due to the bulkhead removal strengthening bars. I have seen disco seats in a defender but same problem and due to the height of the seats the steering wheel in on your legs. So take care when choosing seats to fit.

yep like a glove with your existing runners, check out mobile centre for switches and harness etc........
