Can anyone offer some advice on where to look next, I've repaired my seat elements on both passenger and drivers side seats, both had 2 breaks each so needed doing, I was also swapping seat bases as the drivers side bolster is ripped, still no heat so I checked fuse 2 and that's ok, I can hear a relay sound when I switch it on but having checked the wires I can see I'm not getting any power to the seats, is there anything obvious I should check next?

Yeah did that and all ok, surely I should still get power to the wires under the seat anyway?

check out these pins for your power and earth. they are a bit odd in that power comes in one connector and earth in the other

have you got a copy of rave, there is a full diagram in there for this system?

drivers side:
c905 pin 1 brown/blue 12v
c906 pin 2 Black ground

passenger side:
c903 pin 1 brown/red 12v
c904 pin 2 black ground

this is a very useful guide aswell:

Hi yes have copy of rave, and I've checked power to both the connectors you mention, no power to either, I have completed the fix in your link and found 2 breaks in each seat and repaired them, checked with multi meter and no more breaks in the element, but with no power to the connectors it obviously still won't work, the rear heated screen works which is powered off the same fuse, I guess it could be the becm but wondered if anyone else had issues like this

only thing left to check then is wiring from seat to becm. remove cover for fusebox under drivers seat the connectors are all there. also check connector to ground. unless hevac panel is faulty?

just a thought you are testing with ignition on and the heated switch button turned on i prosume?

Ok so I've been having another play, yep testing with engine running and switch on.
Got power to seat base but not the back, I've used a power probe on the seat base and that heats up fine just not when connected in the car, the earth connector to the seat back is good so where am I going wrong?

Does the seat back have its own stat? If so I don't see y base and back don't just have a positive and an earth, also the second pin on the base has a positive once connected, should there be an earth to the base that's been disconnected in the past maybe? I'm probably showing my ignorance but auto electrics is defo not my strong suit

That's where I was being a muppet, I only tested the base as that's where I'd read all the problems are, turns out I had a break in the seat back to, problem solved now, although I'm not sure it was worth the effort, new stats are the way forward but trying to reign in the costs of running the old girl so decided against it, maybe a job for a later date, once she's behaved herself for a month or 2

Buying them from Hong Kong the stats were only pennies. I think I bought five when I did mine so there must be a couple of spares in one of my electrical boxes. I'm off up to Scotland for a week but,if you want, you could remind me some time after that and I'll have a nose. If I can find them they're yours for the cost of the postage.
