I was just wondering if anyone could help me with this little problem. I have a 1992 RR Vogue with the heated seats. They are no longer working. The lights on the switches do not light up and I can't hear the click of a relay anywhere. I think it might be the relay that has failed, but I cannot locate them. Can anyone help???

Thanks in advance

That'll be the fuse gone, replace this first. After that you should see the light illuminate and the relay click, the relay is located underneath the cubby box.

However it's likely the fuse has gone because of a fault in the seats, so the fuse may go again or seats won't heat up still. Then you're looking at stripping the seat and repairing the wiring or inserting new pads.

There was a thread on here recently on how to do this: Quick Heated seat repair. Anyone tried it?

I have tried replacing all the fuses in the main fuse box located on the dash board. Are there an other fuses. Are you also taking about the cubby box in the centre behind the gear stick. I have looked in hear and there are four yellow relays and I presumed that these are four the electric windows.

Thanks Craig

I don't have any of the manuals with me, the owners handbook will tell you, there is a strip of fuses under the passenger seat and I think it could be in these.

That's right, the relays are the yellow ones and two of them definitely operate the heated seats.

book ses auxiliary fuz box E. rear of the front pass seat.
easier to get at if the seats moved forward.
