That switch may be generic to most BL cars..

Are they same on the rear as an mgB ?
(can’t open your earlier link as no signal,but hey it looks like a yam yam robbing site advert)

You could always try JLR dire ctly ... that would make £45 seem like less than 1/2 price

Might not be local to you but it is the Newbury spares day is at the weekend, I am sure there will be some available there.

Thanks for your posts, recommendations and sympathy guys. I ended up ordering this from eBay at £85 The plastic surround on my own one is cracked though, and the fog light switch was I bit sticky.

I split the original switch open as it was goosed anyway, but looking at it I’m buggered if I know where the money is. There is less to it than the hazard light switch and it’s only £15 !!! I’m guessing these break more and it’s supply and demand (or just robbing gits)

It’s always worth having a spare hazard switch… that’s if it works

My fog light is on the coloum,opposite side to the lights. And I have a dash light/interior light switch on that plastic.

What year is your motor ? I like to know all the little changes they make
(Mines an 85 still on original loom)

It’s an 89 90. It came out of Manchester Airport and has a cast aluminium plate on the drivers side seat box with the airport details on it.

The interior light (equivalent of one candlelight) has the switch on it.
