Hi peeps, I've got a 54 plate freelander,my problem is that the heated mirrors come on when i switch the ignition on. Its no biggy when the engines running but if i accidentally leave the ignition on without the engine running I have a flat battery in double quick time. I've read on here that its a known problem but I cant find what its. any advice would be really appreciated :)

That's how they are wired ;)
They only use a few watts anyway!

Ok thats great thanks for the replies. I must have a weak battery then, If I leave the key in and switched on without the engine running, the battery drains so much that i cant even turn the engine over after 10 or 15 minutes.
