Heated front screen and l/h side lights

Hi all,
heated front wind screen blows the fuse for the L/H side lights all trhe time anyone help and point me in the right direction please. the screen melted the realy in the engine compartment in december have soldered a new pre-wired one in but still pops the bloody fuse.

disconnect the wires for the front screen but switch it on and if it does the same then you know it is the wiring if not then it may be the screen but never heard of a screen doing this also check where the wires connect onto the screen it may be there they are under the panel below the screen on the front of the car.

Ok thanks will try that tomorow, it was a new screen last september.

If there was enough current to melt a relay, you have a dead short on that circuit and wiring would have also melted, causing further shorts and overloads. Trace your headlamp wiring back to the switch and somewhere along the way will be a crispy bit.......
