Successfully recovered my headlining using a kit from Martrim, I am overjoyed with the result.

It would be interesting in the amount of material u used and the type of adhesive.
I see the sunroof trim joining piece is missing, if you want them as they were fitted only to the D2, cream ones are available on eBay.
Also I see the sunroof blind clips are different from my discos factory fitted items.

There a Utube showing a RR having a replacement lining, seems to take a few days start to finish.

Everything cam as a kit from Martrim unfortunately I didn't measure the material although there was plenty, the adhesive was branded martrim.

As far as I am aware the sunroof blind retainer clips are standard (1994 es Japanese spec).

It took me half a day to take the headlining out and clean all the old foam off then another day to glue the new material on and put it back in the car.

Well done mate!:D:D:D

Well done.
Looks a bit better than mine but mine was oatmeal colour so it shows the creases an ripples a bit more.
I'm delighted with mine too though, at least I haven't got the headlining cloth touching my head anymore.
The kit is pretty good.
Did you put some waterproof protection over your RF receiver whilst you had the headlining out?
Its the reason I took the headling out in the first place and I couldnt put it back without covering it first. :)

This is mine after I took out the material!
Cleaned of as much of the adhesive as I could! Wiped down with soapy water, let dry in the sun! Then 'Painted with grey primer! Now it looks as if I replaced it with 'Felt' covering

Does help if I attach the Bloody picture!!! hahahah

Our headlining is out at the moment whilst the sunroof drains are sorted and I did think about painting the board before it went back in and doing away with the clothing lining. What primer did you use? I'm not sure how long ago you did it but how is it working out - no signs of the paint coming off?

No I haven't got any working fobs and there doesn't seem to be an alarm fitted at all I assume the lack of an alarm is because it is a Japanese import. I re-sealed the sunroof drains although they were not leaking !!

It was done about 18 months ago! Still looking good! And no signs of paint coming off.
Metal paint primer! Can't remember where from though:(, it was the left over tin, when I done my steel front bumper.
