Well worth it as lining was barely attached and it don't take long 1st coat is a bugger as it absorbs most of it but upside is you can have any colour :D

I got my discovery back last night after having the rear floor replaced, seeing as the seats and carpets were out I thought I might as well try this on my tatty headliner.
I took the liner out this morning, took off the cloth, rubbed it down and painted it with emulsion.
A you said, it don't half soak up that first coat but by the third coat it looked pretty good.
Gonna stick it back up tomorrow.

I really want to do this to mine, but on looking at the headlining, it looks like mine is made from compressed felt? Is there more than one type of lining out there, ore is the fiber glass just hiding out of view? Anyone know?
