Anyone seen a good video or instructions of removing the headlining from a Freelander 2? Do I need to watch out for air bags? I need to put some dashcam wiring up there. Will post a video when I've done it.

I'd avoid pulling the whole headlining down, when all you need is to drop the front slightly. The wiring will be going up the A pillar anyway, so you should be able to remove the A pillar trim, and feed the wire along from there. That's what I've done on our last 3 family cars.

I think your right. I should get away with dropping one side down. I need to get the reverse camera wires to the tailgate and I should be able to find a suitable power supply at the back somewhere.
Do I need to disable the side airbags?

No need to drop headlining just push the cable behind the door rubber there is also a very convenient trim on the mid door pillar to tuck it away from there on it's all hidden behind the rear boot trim
Not hard. Saves disturbing the head lining.

Take the power from your reversing lights camera will only operate when needed

Run the video cable along the threshold plate, then there's no need to disturb the side of the headlining, especially in the area of the side airbags. ;)

This^^^^ You can access the reverse light feed, when you run the video cable up to the tailgate cable gaiter, running the video and camera power at the same time. ;)
