Headlight outage!?

Hi,

When I set off driving from being momentarily pulled over, my dipped lights wouldn't go on! My side lights do go on, and my high beam also works, but only when I pull the lever in for the flash mode...

I have no technical knowledge of how to go about fixing this... is there anybody in the Aylesbury area who can come to my rescue this weekend? Will sort anyone out for their troubles.

S probably just the switch

The switch was on its way out if I'm honest! But head lights at this time of year are somewhat necessary! Don't want to be pulled over by the old bill.

had the same prob last year, it is just the switch

So how do I go about sorting it? Is it quick and painless?

Reasonably just unscrew steering shroud.
unscrew and unplug the old switch.
Plug in noo switch rescrew etc
