Not quite sure what you mean there mate, you appear to be suggesting that because I have searched and not found an answer, there is no answer, therefore it's pointless asking... is that correct?
You said that one ballast appears to be faulty.
No, I said, as far as I'm aware, if it was a ballast pack, one light wouldn't work and it can be confirmed by swapping them about and if the fault follows the ballast pack then that's the problem. In this case, both headlights are playing up randomly. They both come on but not necessarily at the same time. Sometimes only left, sometimes only right, sometimes neither then sometimes both together. There is no pattern to it to help diagnose the problem. Any ideas?
Yes, a duff ballast pack causing the ECU to shut down.
Is there any way of finding out which one? Or if they are both knackered? (Considering both are playing up)
Saint V8 knows more. But my way forward would be to buy one from a scrappy and try swapping around. I used to live near Horsham.
