Ok I have 1994 disco it has the oblong headlights which are held in at the top with plastic adjuster screws, these plastic screws are held in place through the metal surround, they then screw onto the lamp housing and you can adjust aim by screwing the plastic screws in or out a little. My problem is the plastic screw threads have now gone so the headlight is now free on that side and rattles about, does anyone know of a fix for this problem.

Replacement unit? Nothing on ebay , nothing I can find listed for it had this problem once be for, can’t remember how I got round it, I’ll have to make something up I think, the plastic screws are fixed in such a way you can’t pull them out without breaking them, no thought put into the design cheap rubbish.

The headlamp sits on the electronic adjuster at the bottom, pops on, then at the top there are two plastic fittings that are fitted to the metal headlight frame, these plastic screw type fittings screw onto the two threaded lugs on the top at the back of the headlight, they pull the lamp into place and also allow you to adjust the lamp aim.
