Head gasket gone/overheating

I don't know what is ****ing me off more............keep having to work on the Disco, or all this f**king typing.

Ran the Disco down the road with no thermostat.......took a while to get to temp (couldn't get it halfway).........top hose definately warmer, and the rad had an even heat all over, so looking like the thermostat (hopefully)

Also got a weeping injector seal or return pipe banjo, so will have to do that as well..........never ending.

sounds like it to me leave stat out till you get a new one will take time to get to temp but better than overheating

I won't run it now til its done. I'll use the bike tomorrow. I reckon the next thing to break will be the bonnet hinges......they must be nearly shagged out by now!

New thermostat, give it a good bleed and a short run, then flogged the old bitch up the motorway just to warm it up properly, and all good (Said that a few times in the last week).

Fitted some new fuel leak-off hose and replaced the banjo copper washers on #4 injector.......and, dare I say it, seems ok.
