honing bores with crank inplace i suppose you just wrap crank with rags while you run the hone inthe boreok borrowed a valve spring compressor took valves out they dont look to bad one of the valve stem oil seals had popped of its seat got some photos but my lad is out with his girlfriend till latter hes got em on his ipod anyway got the bug now up late last night reading lots of threads and found one on piston ring renewal sounds quite simple and can be done with engine in so im thinkin maybe??? has anybody done this and were there any unxspected xtra costs apart from big end shells rings? . is it possible to do valve guides yourself how do you press new ones in mightbe to tricky me thinks.
