hdc Srs light fuel trim bank sensor 1 coolant temp sensor please help :(

Can someone please help me ! I bought a freelander 53 plate two months ago and I have hill descent light on and Srs light.. I have checked connections in the hd switch and replaced the brake pedal sensor too but to no avail ! I have a diagnostic tool and all it comes up with is p0116 to do with engine coolant temp sensor .. also I have had a code before saying fuel trim bank sensor 1 and yes it's sucking fuel In bad lol .. its still in 4wd which is rare lol 77000 miles on clock too ..
Please help me guys

Hi. Your generic OBD2 reader won't read everything other than engine faults. This is for emission reasons.
Obviously you need to get your Coolant Temperature Sensor or (CTS) replaced. Fuel trim can be down to a few things, one to monitor.

The the amigos as they are know can be caused by several items. If you have changed the brake pedal sensor then the best thing to do is check the wheel pickups.

Hi thank you for your reply I really appreciate it .. can you enlighten me as to what you mean by wheel pickups? I have never heard of them before ? Sorry if I sound stupid lol .. will replace the cts this week .
I only have the eml on intermittent and hdc light comes on after driving a few miles .. I though that the three amigos was hdc tc light and eml? I don't have tc light on at any point ?

The three amigos (because they often come on together) are HDC, ABS and TC lights, the most likely cause of all coming on together is the wheel sensors (or pickups as mentioned above) - each wheel has an electronic sensor which measures the speed of rotation at the wheel and feeds the information back to the black box on the traction control unit. Do yours come on when you switch on? If not then there is a good possibility they have been disabled (by blanking them off so they can't be seen) - ABS light should come on with the ignition and then go off again as you start to move.
