Having to sell my 90.. gutted

Due to circumstances l find myself in, l'm afraid my 90 has to go.
I have a few months so what shold I do?
Sell as it is or make it as good as possible bearing in mind that the new owner may want to change the things I do to improve the interior.
The basics are all done, chassis, 200tdi, R380 box, new brakes, steering box, nothing left to renew really so a good buy for someone.
So what to do ?

Do the bare minimum no point spending money for someone else to enjoy, but on the other hand some wannabe 90/110 drivers arent mechs so would need a sorted/driveable example.
Winters coming so at least prices will be good for you.

No mechanicals to do just interior scruffy, she would fly through any mot.
Spare gearboxes, spare cylinder head, spare wheels with chunky tyres, lot of landy for the money
Need to find a good home for it

Is it mot'd at the moment - if not that would be an obvious improvement.

Mot for six months and will go through next one without any work. New landrover seats, spare doors swing away wheel carrier new shocks etc

Re-mot it so it's got a full 12 months and spare as little as possible to make it presentable and sell your spares separately cos if I were to buy something with a spare gearbox with it I'd be wondering how good the fitted gearbox was if I'm being supplied with a possible replacement. Also don't forget the winter tax that will kick in soon

i to agree with just sell the car on its own and the spares separate you will get more money that way.

Shame that mate, but as said above, sell the spares separately to the vehicle, and do the bare minimum to tart the insides up. One thing you'll always see on forecourts, and bears repeating, is scrupulously clean the windows and mirrors! The whole vehicle looks cleaner, outside and in. It says to a potential buyer that you took care of it and cared when driving it, even more so than a tidy interior, which they mostly expect anyway!

'course, if you want £50 for the swingaway wheel carrier, I'm after a roughish one on the cheap, or even a great one, on the cheap!!

Nice one ..

If I were selling it, and had for instance, a locking diff in an axle, I'd take it out. It will barely make any difference to the overall sale price you'll achieve, similarly other added kit, you'll make more from selling good quality parts as spares, or indeed keeping the good stuff for future for yourself, if opportunity pops up! Bear in mind what you spent on bits, and what they'll cost to buy them again ...

It's got nothing special really, just wolf wheels, roof rack, swing away, but anything that needed renewing has been seen to. I was going to keep it forever so made sure it was all good.
Still not perfect, got new screen rubber with it and could do with new wiper parts but all works good. Going to swap the military door tops for ordinary ones and paint the spare wheels. Tyres must be worth a bit.
I'll get some pics and put it on for sale section in a week or two, tidy dash up first.

Yes, it's always worth taking accessories off and either selling them separately or keeping them ready for the next one. The best prices seem to be made by ones that are fairly standard.

Seen that one thanks, mines not quite ready for sale unfortunately, l need to get over 3k for it so it'll have to be spot on inside and out.
I want to convert gearbox so the stick is back in the Defender position and fix the heater controls etc etc.
Got to swap doors as well so l
can sell my wolf door tops separate.
