Went to get this tonight but he forgot to mention in the add or in the phone calls i had with him that the clutch was fookedWas a shame as the engine was sweet, decent box, everything worked but wouldn`t have got the the 90 miles home over the M62. If anyone fancies it for bits he`ll take £900, i just can`t be arsed going back with a trailer for it.
Be ideal for bits if anyone`s a bit closer or got a trailer to get it!!

Clutch kit will set ya back £80 plus cost of getting a trailer sorted. int worth more than £700 with no clutch. & then ya taking a risk as ya won't be able to check gearbox & difflock etc etc.

I can,t believe he didn,t tell you that , knowing you were going all that way to get it . What an idiot. Its a good job you didn,t try to drive it back or you would have turned into sOsbob !
I know, he knew it had gone aswell as he said he noticed it when he was driving at about 50mph. Thats on the flat though would have been knackered trying to get it up any hills. Just keeping an eye on Ebay see it the little **** re-lists it without mentioning the clutch.

Good idea but dont the AA and RAC make you wait 24 hours after you join before they will recover you ?Went through gears ok, got hi, lo and diff lock ok but clutch wasn`t biting till top of the pedal and was slipping in 2nd. Some big hills on the 62 and if he`d had dropped to 700 i`d have pulled into the services and joined the AA
