if anyone is daft enough to still have the butterfly in the inlet manifold, then they deserve to smoke. A diesel needs air, the more the better,
Well mine doesn't have any issues. This system seems to have worked well for 32 years on my Landy. Only a daft person would change it because they can't be bothered to get it set it up correctly. I'll admit its a bit crude by modern methods, but it works and doesn't require electrics.
