Fooking ell now he's slagging Gaylanders orf and saying their crap offroad. Ya not gonna let that pass are you Howardo??? :alien: :D :D :p
Can't argue that, they're not the best offroaders, I 've never said they were.
They are good landrovers though, but this arguement is for another thread.:)

x factor on at 8

This thread is a bit like X Factor....watching 'care in the community people'* making a fool of themselves in public, cringing at it, hating every minute of it, .......yet strangely unable to stop watching :D

*NB I didn't say who......IMHO there's more than 1 person that's made a pratt of themselves during this thread.

James.R - you said something a while back about not wanting the hassle of researching lanes etc etc.......well first time I went out, I didn't research any lanes, check any legalities, read any maps, or anything. I went in a group of 4 vehicles, had expert advice on hand when needed, a tow when needed (and the favour had to be returned later ;)) and a brilliant weekend.
I just followed the guy in front.

Does that sound good to you?

Price - £0
Cost - coming on here, POLITELY joining a discussion and being invited out with a group.

I'm going out again with the same people soon. Lane research done? Nope - all I know is the meeting point - the rest is trust in the expertise of the organiser. That trust doesn't come from handing over money.

As I've said before - I've no problem with you paying someone - I just want you to know there are other options which IMHO are better.
