Morning all

Does anyone know how to increase the volume when hands free calling on a freelander 2?.. I've tried turning the volume up and the buttons on the wheel, which both go up to 30. But this makes no difference.

Cheers

Unless you are going deaf, maybe the vehicle sound deadening not working and you have adjusted to it.
Is this recently or been like this for a while?

Only had the car for a month, so its been like it since I had it... Cant find any way to adjust it as the volume controls seem to make no difference... For the record I'm not going deaf.. not yet at least LOL...

How old is the vehicle and is the settings linked to the computer for a diagnosis tool to adjust. Like some television have various sound levels for sports movies etc. Another one can be with the phone have settings to prevent volume to loud for ear buds ie Bluetooth might be acting the same way. How is the noise levels in the vehicle with radio off are you hearing engine or road tyres.

Its a 2011 free lander 2, so just before the last refresh.. Its not noisy in the car generally, a low mileage example, the sat nav cuts in at a good volume. But when you take calls its extremely low volume.

Could well be in the phone volume settings. I've noticed with my Nokia smartphone do drop volume connected to a paired headphones outside. Worth checking first when adjusting it.
