I have a set of these and they are pretty good - just make sure you hang on to the receipt - their lifetime guarantee is no good without it....
 
Their professional socket sets are good value for money, got one of the big sets and it's handled everything I've asked it to.

My local Halfords replaced Torx bits with no receipt, I've had them for years so went in to buy a couple that my brother broke and because they were stamped Halfords they gave them me free of charge;):)

I was told by a Halfords employee that all their receipts fade after 6 months and you can't read them so any old receipt will do :)

I quite like Halfords tools for the money, the ratchet spanners are about the best thing they do.

A blob of grease to the ratchet guts makes the Halfords ones feel much better
