Bugger.

Anything salvageable, or write-off? Mind, I dunno whether I'd want 'my' Landy back after this amount of time ...

Feel for you .. :(

Aw I'm sorry :( what a stupid waste

Really is :(

I think a write off, I wanted my bonnet off it as I've never seen 1 like it, but dad said there's only half of it left, I guess I can't even go and check what I can get off it because of the insurance? Had 2 new props and a me steering arm, a 2/3 month old exhaust ehigh id love back though.
Can't bring myself to look at the pictures the police sent yet :(

Really is :( it's sick because I'm terrified of leaving my new 1 now as well. Bastards!!

same problem here , I have two so I always have to leave one , im so paranoid I have bolts welded on every accessory and park it against walls, pilliars ect to stop stuff being nicked from it , also sometimes connect the winch to stuff ( pilliar in multi-storey) and spool in just to make it that little bit harder

neither are worth much but I couldent have them nicked :(

Really feel for you
We had a car stolen a few years back, and that was also set on fire by some mindless idiot
I was gutted,

So sorry to hear of the loss. I would be gutted, its like losing a family pet.

I had my car stolen a few years back - found it two streets down as it was on the absolute red on the diesel - I found it walking the dog! No damage, but I have always kept my Landy now on absolute zero fuel for what i need. Thieves may have just taken it to "get home" - means they cant get back to L'pool or Manchester without fuel (I live in Chorley, Lancs which is 20- 30 mins from both and both motorways are 5 mins from my house. Thefts, car and house, are just about the only thing we suffer from round here and most is cross border (i work in Community Safety). My advice, the best forms of anti theft is keep your fuel low (if they have to refuel they can get picked up on CCTV, or ditch and find something else, take it out of diff (if old like mine), hard to get mine in when still - even for me, disconnect battery. If going on holiday remove a wheel/put on axle stands - they dont like to chance a broken Landy when they can go for a nice "running" one.

Hope your new addition to family is a loving replacement.

Al.

Oh blimey ...I'm so sorry Ems :(

Thanks muds, awful isn't it :(
Was heartbroken when I found out. Heart stopped for a second when dad said 'the police have found your car...' :(

Was it complete or had it been cannibalised for parts?

Bull bar and front bumper gone - that's all I know. I haven't seen the pics don't want to
I know the bumper was still there and as far as I know the roof rack, tyres still on it. Guess I'll know more when police have inspected it.

It had 3/4 of a tank in there & I remember saying they'll use it until it runs dry :(
New 1 is a lovely one, but nothing will ever be loved as much as my first one.
Safety precautions are in place on new one 24/7, the first few nights I was up several times making sure she was still there.
My boyfriend had his van window smashed a week ago, it blocks in my car that's quite hidden. Thankfully they couldn't get into it as it's a brand new van and you can't open it without the key, even from the inside. They took nothing - so we've guessed they were trying to get the van rather than its contents. We got the little knob on CCTV as the area is now very well covered. Not caught yet but fingers crossed will be!
