Gun cabinet / pull out drawer system

No longer required Gun Cabinet (conforms to same specs as house based gun cabinets), dimensions 90cm deep (+25mm for lip / drawer handle), 80cm wide and 20cm tall.

Fits perfectly into the back of a 110, I've moved the mounting brackets to the back and they've been set up so they can be bolted through the same points as the second row seat belt fixing points. The height then wedges itself nicely under the bench seats in the back which saved drilling the tub to mount it. Obviously not as secure as it could be but I just didn't want it hurtling around the boot...

Two bits of foam came with it - I used it to transport my 32" shotgun in one side (on the right in the picture) and the other I'm afraid I've "butchered" slightly so that it took my Sako 85 .243 broken down (left in the picture, stock in the right hand slot with bipod reversed, scope + barrel + action bottom left and moderator top left).

Depending on what kind of wheel carrier you have and how far the door opens you may need to install it close to the left of the vehicle to clear the back door stut (assuming it's a Defender).

Would like £250 for it (compared to >£400 that Mobile Storage Solutions charge you for something not as good).

If you're quick (i.e. before / by the bank holiday weekend) then I'm driving up to the Highlands that weekend (leaving Surrey on Friday afternoon / evening and returning Monday afternoon) so am more than happy to meet someone en-route. I haven't actually checked to see whether it fits in the back of the Range Rover but given how damn wide the thing it I don't think there'll be a problem. Alternatively will likely be heading west (Monmouth) next Sunday for a shoot so same applies.

Note: route is kind of fixed due to time constraints and already picking some stuff up on the way... Likely to be (hopefully avoid M25) -> M1 -> Doncaster -> (maybe Middlesborough) -> Drumnadrochit.

Get a proper rifle (i.e. hunting one) and it wouldn't be a problem...

As an aside - makes it beautifully flat for putting a double mattress in the back (yes they do fit)...

For my 90 :-(

What are your concerns about - length of guns or length of cabinet? I'm pretty sure the cabinet fits in a 90 (there are mounting holes on the sides and bottoms). If it's about the guns then I did manage to get my FAC Air Rifle (big old beast - Air Arms S410 Xtra) into it diagonally and if I'd bothered to get around to it could have fitted that and several shotguns in. A bit unconventional in orientation but would have squeezed in.

I have a CZ with a moderator obviously the silencer can unscrew however I think the length of that would be too long to fit in. The walther mp5 no probs.

I have priced up materials in the past to build one to fit my needs is round £165 and quite a few hours graft.

A drop in soloution you have is great I simply cannot spend £250 on it as quite skint this month.


The 90 has a deeper load space than a 110 csw

I will have a measure I may well bi interested but I need to get the nationals out the way

Which CZ do you have? I can take some more measurements to see whether it's likely to fit. I can take some photos later on today with my rifle in there (Sako 85 Synthetic Stainless in .243 Win). It does have the benefit of a free floating barrel so the barrel and action are only held into the stock by two Torx bolts thus quite easy to disassemble.

I'm pretty sure it fitted in (minus the moderator which for a .243 is colossal) diagonally. but because my shotgun wasn't small I tended to break it down.

Thinking about it perhaps the simplest would be a bit of chalk or string in the back of the 90 and put the rifle down to see if it fits. The dimensions were external but it's very close on the inside dimensions as well.

If things do fit and you're still interested I'm willing to reserve it. I know what it can be like - just had to buy a tow bar for the Range Rover which unsurprisingly isn't cheap for an L322 and the insurance is due later in the month :dizzy:. Still worth it for leaving most vehicles behind on the road, the TDV8 is an awesome engine. Not bad off road either, just a shame you can't get decent tyres for it (recently put a full set of General Grabbers on it and then burst one and ripped another to the core on some lanes in the Lakes the following weekend ).
