Thanks Bob, I've just ordered a couple of rolls. The chrome strip around the windscreen on wife's Rover 75 keeps coming adrift on one corner, I tried superglue but it didn't work. I'll let you know if this stuff is any good. When I had to replace the window motor on my Kia the waterproof membrane behind the door card was held on with very stick black stuff, it was a nightmare if you got it on anything. I wish I knew what that was.

I tried some of this stuff on the loose windscreen strip on the wife's car and so far it has held it. The stuff is nice and sticky, well worth the price I think. If you order two rolls like I did, they send you one roll of 2 metres rather than two rolls of one metre.

Any good for holding door cards in place do you think? The holes for the usual studs have rotted..
Cheers

No such thing as gum gum. It is either Gun Gum for exhausts or Dum Dum for panel sealing. ;);)
Obviously not. We have a member who has successfully used it :p

I purposely didn’t type dum dum as it’s obviously not the same as the original and didn’t want to confuse anyone.

It dunt look that sticky to me. Tacky yes but would probably need a mechanical fixing as well. The original dum dum was used as a gasket between body panels so not used to directly stick things together.

Looks suspiciously like tacky tape used in vacuum bagging for composite manufacture, normally about a fiver for 50ft. Have used it with great success all over mine.
