HI
Just had a nightmare changing over wheels. Bought a new set of 17" alloys for TD4 sport premium. Had new tyres fitted on them and then discovered they would not fit without spacers. While being fitted(b4 they realised they were not going to fit), there was a really nasty CRACK sound when the guy torqued up one of the rear wheel nuts. I immediately thought that one of the pegs had sheared, but it seemed fine. To cut a long story... I had the original alloys put back on, but since then there has been a really bad grinding sound on that rear near side wheel. On returning home tonight I felt the brake drum and it was red hot - not good, as the other drum was stone cold. I've scoured the site for posts about this problem and I'm a bit confused...
Could it be that the hand brake cable is trapped ?
The rusty drum grinding against the alloy ?
A wheel bearing ?
Something else altogether ?
Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks !

Thanks fellas
The nuts all seem to be on fine. I've pulled the wheel about and there is no play between it and the drum. I will take it to the garage today and ask them to take apart the drum assembly for a better look.
Cheers
