So I got sent a link as part of the Countryside Alliance newsletter directing me to see what the shooting set are waiting for, the answer to all your needs kind of add. So I open the page and it's all smoke a mirrors, pictures of the production site and a 2D image of a boxy thing but no substance

One thing it will not have is brand heritage. I often wonder why we all are so enthusiastic about our vehicles. In my case it iwas a very basic, practical working vehicle that I became rather fond of but people come to own them for many different reasons and perhaps their developmental history is one of these.
Making myself unpopular here I rather like the look of LR's new 90 , apart from its front styling and being produced overseas, though it would have to be dramatically reduced in complexity and price for me to consider buying one.
As Lightning says, Grenadier are starting from scratch and as such have a reputation to establish and, coming from nowhere, really have to get it right first time. I wish them success.
In the meantime I shall continue with my 110 and possibly invest an a welding course and equipment in the next decade or so.
Hippo has posted his very popular I would like to say discussion. I was wondering if a similar post as to why we like our Land Rovers would fly.
Not only would it help answer my curiosity of the second sentence here, but also be of immense help to the developers of Grenadier.
I might just do that.

Theres a hole for a bent nail though so perhaps they've got an ex landrover engineer on board.

Lada concept looks good.
It does but not sure if it's draw was ever bling
They should take a leaf from the Suzuki book and keep it simple, that's where the gaps in the market are

One of mine was a Cossack.......alloy wheels, flared arches, central locking, stubby screwdriver in the ignition to start it and rust everywhere.
That leaked as well!
