Hello
My name's Cartertonian (for forum purposes - being my username on other such forums) and I am currently without landrover. I used to have a Series 1 Disco (200tdi) whose only fault was too few seats (when our sixth kid came along) I did look at a 110 CSW at the time but there was no way we could fit a baby seat into the damn thing anwhere (we did take the baby seat with us and we did try!), so in the end we bought an 8-seat Toyota Previa which we had for six years - until my wife tried to use it as a submarine in last Autumn's floods.
Now, I'm just out of the RAF and using some of my gratuity to buy another Previa AND another disco. This time I'm going for a Series 2. Even if I could afford it I wouldn't want a Series 3/4. Who the feck at JLR thought that turning the disco into a characterless box was a good move in the aesthetics department?
One question: Is it possible/economical to fit folding rear seats into a 5-seater Series 2?
