Greetings from Weymouth

Hi - new to this forum so bear with!
Had a couple of Discos previously and also a Freelander 2. Recently purchased Defender 110 HT Commercial - I have died and gone to heaven! Wish I had bought one years ago! Have a permanent grin on my face! Not necessarily what you conjure up as a lady's motor but hey - its a Land Rover thing!

Not dabbled off road before but done a taster at LR Experience followed by beginner course and hoping to go back in a couple of months to do more advanced course. Looking for any suitable like minded individuals in my area/Devon area for off road experience and social side of life. Look forward to hearing from anyone.... Cheers Sam

Hi sam , welcome to the forum . Had a week in Weymouth this September and loved it so much we are coming for a long weekend in june next year to see the young cygnets at abbotsbury . We stayed at lacey's guest house in holland road fantastic place to stay with lovely room , really good breakfast and nigel and wendy were lovely hosts . We loved the area , there is so much to see and do . Maybe if my disco is still on the road by then you could show us some green lanes in Dorset.

Wow is Weymouth really in Dorsetshire???? I have obviously got it wrong for so long...... Would be interested in off roading my area (Dorset) AND Devonshire as a frequent visitor.:bounce:

Hi from norf essex..

been a grokle many times to weymouth & portland over the years, still look in on your seafront webcams mate, just to keep my grey matter working.

hope you meetup with some local LZers who can show you around the wet & muddy bits.
