Hi folks. I'm Andy, and believe it or not i'm now on my 2nd Freelander 1.8(that's right, i bought another one
).
Of course when I first got sucked in by my original 2001 Y reg I had no idea what i was doing and had never heard of the hgf problems. I should have realised it was a common thing as when it went the first person to come up to me when i broke down said "head gasket?"
3 1/2 years later i'm on my 2nd car and 4th head gasket(2 failures, 1 on each car), but for some reason i still love it!
There have been countless other faults too, and several current on my 52 plate so i'm sure i'll be on here plenty.
