Just found this thread and love the idea of doing some green lanes on Sunday 10th! I'm a complete novice though lol. What's this place in Basingstoke like? 
I'm based in Chobham so maybe I could meet you guys someone on the route or meet you there? Box hill is in the opposite direction for me.

Its not a place - its some of the lacal lanes between Basingstoke & Alton. Some scratchy, some more technical than others, but a good intro to laning. Make sure you have recovery points just in case tho.
