Sadly I won't be coming out for a few weeks as I've kinda broken the defender.
I snapped a brake pipe whilst changeling the flexi's and have decided since its not going anywhere at the moment I might as well get on and tackle the suspicious head gasket and other fluid leaks.

Hi all. I cant make it out at all this weekend. The landie is undergoing serious surgery. After our last outing I found a 6 inch crack in the gearbox crossmember. After I cut all the rust out I have to fabricate a new cross member and weld it in. So thats my sunday taken up.

Thought you might be interested in this though VID_20120825_160945.mp4 - YouTube this is the lane than was really rutted and finished out on the road. I drove past it today and I can see why it's so rutted now. A little bit of rain and it's washing away like crazy.

Be fun trying to drive up there now lol

Where is this lane? will be taxing my truck on the 1st need to give it a good test on some lanes.

Its a cut down rangerover chassis with sj bodywork 200TDI dico running gear front winch 33" tyres will be with my brother in his SJ on hilux axles running 33" tyres and my dad in his lightweight on a cut down rangerover chassis very capable trucks been laning for years was just onterested to know where this lane was.
