Apparently they wear quite well according to the shop (although they are obviously trying to sell them) but want to know whether I want 16 x 7 or 16 x 8 rims, fora 265/75 r16 tyre. Any suggestions which I should go for?

I think I'm just gonna take the plunge and get them, some of the reviews are really good so I'm hoping they should be a good tyre, I'll be sure to write a review on them on here. They've surely got to be better than the Kumho's (my other cheaper choice)

Spanner in the works time.Heard good things about the kumho, althpought theyre a slitty tire for slitty motors, not rangie size friendly.they won joint first in 4x4 mags what mud tire test. Also heard other reports on here that they aint gret in the sticky stuff...The mt2 pattern isnt a million miles away from the tried n tested bfg one.I reckon they'll be fine. The only other option is a really aggressive pattern like the special tracks.

I did look at the special tracks but thats getting right into the aggressive patterns that are going to really ruin my mpg and noise on the road. As long as the dunlops don't really ruin my mpg and still work well off road I'll be a happy bunny.

I love that site, got into trouble at work for spending about half an hour comparing meerkats, this is good also

Yeah but there is this already PETERBOROUGH 4X4 CLUB WEB PAGES - MUD SWEAT AND TEARS, I just thought a land rover club would be cool

I know one of the guys on the committee of that club .. they have use of their own parcel of land (Or land powned by a member, can't remember) and are a really laid-back, well-run club. I come from Doncaster, but a weekend they arranged in Norfolk was amazing .. Seven hours of laning/fording on the Saturday and Sunday at their off-road place ... awesome.
