as i said posh. ive not done to many , as no mates wi 4x4 well ones misses has a freelander but she wont let him , few days at tixover , often in the lakes aswell good there, but again carnt go extreme on own, i bought mine to get me and caravan and kids out of glastonberry festival mud , got fed up wi waiting for a tow out over years on monday morn so got a defender , been dry since aint it but would never go back now.(umm mot on way).umm checker plate ..
 
yes i thought i saw that the other night i will keep me eye open for him , hopefully wont need towing this year,probaly paid him a few tenners over years
 
must be hard to work glasters , me hat off to him and many others who make it happen every year, my daughters 5 and she been 5 times loves it,must of them muddy ever seen people canoeing through tents and poo funny that year wen stream slightly burst its banks,lots of nice polite people there now tho..........ummmmm,hoping to make me self a few tenners now towing peeps out watch out ratty.lol
 
aft kev put that question in general section and they will soon reply , try e bay tho, how long till you ready now, im up for this sunday if any one else is up for a little trip, just done 550miles on motorways this weekend need to get muddy now.
 
morning Gas, this Sunday is too soon, almost ready. I recon bank holiday weekend will be the last weekend, fingers crossed. will arrange something for after then.
 
dropped the motor of today 4 mot + cam belt , service, he said hed phone if any probs, not heard owt yet, probaly still writing list.hope to pic up tomorrow
 
yes straight thro mot ,just an advisory of corroded rear axle just where those arm things fix on,always fancied a rear disc brake axle off discos i think,now bad news 3 bolts have shered off in engine block around water pump when he was doin cambelt , pickin up tomorrow,left them drilling them out
 
oh yer kev they got a rangie on way in for breaking 4.3efi or summat, he got no wheels for a range . massive grizzly mud tyres but they perished not for road use,
 
Well done on the mot Gas! Sounds like its gonna come back in a worse state though! There is a garage literally a couple of hundred metres down the road from me who are a really good bunch and well into their Range rovers and the son who works there just got rid of his td5 defender and said to me that if I ever need any parts to give him a shout as they have loads of bits, haven't had a look at what they got but they have loads of massive containers so I'll ask him if he has a rear axle when you want one.

Very nearly brought myself some nice big wheels this week, think it will happen next week to be honest though, anyone want my standard steels? lol.

if you can ask that bloke if he has a center shock for a rangie that would be good, mine has a leak. cheers mate.
 
centershock ???????? ok i,ii ask better not be a lefthand screwdriver jobi kev.picking mine up friday they had to order in a cambelt tentioner???
 
its called a self Levelling shock so i'm told. But now it dont matter as i'm lifting it 2" i dont need it any more. post some pics when you get it back.
